The role of the church administration, and especially that of the president, is to provide general spiritual and administrative guidance for the functioning of the East-Central Tanzania Conference office and all of its subsidiary organizational units and institutions. The presidential leadership role also includes staff development and strategic planning. He prepares and presides over executive committee meetings, institutions, and conference departments.
